Well, well, well………. All I can say is, “ITS ABOUT TIME!” Ever since Paris - Roubaix, things for me had taken a turn for the worst. And it has continued up until now. Nothing has gone right….. as far as bikes staying together, my body staying together etc etc. Anyway I am hoping now since I have recovered from my most recent injury that things are going to start to get better again.

My last injury, was from a crash I had in the first round of the north island mountain bike series, which after groveling to the finish to finish 3rd landed me in hospital with a suspected broken femur. Its turned out to just be very badly bruised which to get me back on my bike this week, required ultrasound therapy and examinations and physio every day. Unfortunately due to the injury I had to sit out of the national road championships a week ago and also the 2nd and 3rd round of the north island mountain bike series.

But the good news is I hope the bad luck spell has ended and I can be back up and running for the national mountain bike champs in a few weeks in Nelson. So other than injury not much has happened to have to write about.

Girlfriends family have been flat out trying to organise a fund raiser for me to get back to Belgium in the first week of march. It is going to be a hypnotist night/ comedy show so any one interested let me know and i can get you out some tickets.
